Richard Sherbaniuk is an environmental consultant, classical scholar, and historian. He specializes in analyzing geo-political crises and new technologies, and advises governments and corporations, domestic and international, on environmental protection issues. He collects antiques, paintings, and sculpture, and travels widely in Europe and the Middle East. The Fifth Horseman is his first novel.
