In addition to tales of Midnight Louie, Carole Nelson Douglas is also the author of the historical suspense series featuring Irene Adler, the only woman ever to have “outwitted” Sherlock Holmes. Douglas resides in Fort Worth, Texas.
Lawrence Block, a Mystery Writers of America Grand Master, is a many-time winner of the Anthony, Edgar and Shamus Awards, as well as a recipient of prizes in France, Germany and Japan. He also received the British Crime Writers' Association's prestigious Cartier Diamond Dagger for lifetime achievement in crime writing. A Walk Among the Tombstones, one of the novels in his Matthew Scudder series, was adapted into a 2014 film starring Liam Neeson. The author of more than fifty books and numerous short stories, he is a devout New Yorker and an enthusiastic world traveler.
ANNE C. PERRY is Associate Professor of International Business at The American University in Washington, D.C. Her major research interests are in the areas of international trade and service multinationals. Her articles have been published in the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Global Marketing, The European Journal of Marketing, and the International Marketing Review.
